Some Common Questions
Does It Hurt?
You will not experience pain with Acupuncture. You may experience warmth, heaviness, tingling, or other sensations around the site of the needle
How Often Do I Need Treatments?
You will most likely come once weekly initially for treatment.
How many needles will I get?
The number of needles depends on what we are working on, but generally speaking between 10-12 needles
How Long Will I Have To Keep Coming?
Our goal is to reach results efficiently and quickly so you don’t need continual follow ups. Most likely you will have weekly sessions for 6 – 12 weeks or so. Then, we will start making room for all your friends and loved ones you are going to send to us!
Is There Any Bleeding Or Risk Of Infection?
There is no bleeding. Unlike hypodermic needles (used for injections and to draw blood), acupuncture needles do not cut you. And, they are sterile and disposable, so there is no risk of infection.
What About Nutrition And Diet?
We are definitely able to help you with that. In fact, Traditional Eastern Medicine (the medical system Acupuncture is a part of) has a very advanced system of food therapy.
